The trip covers roughly 30 miles, depending on exactly which way you go. To begin my journey, I made my way downtown, fully-charged Metroboard in tow. I took the bike path along the west side as far north as I could, hauling myself, my DSLR and two GoPros at 20 mph. The first leg of the trip to the northern tip of Manhattan took me about an hour and a half. And the battery was still kicking — I was impressed.
