The first thing that came to mind when I saw the Hoverboard was the Onewheel, a similar board with a wheel in its center. Where the Onewheel has a fat wheel reminiscent of a wheel from Batman’s Tumbler, the Hoverboard has a thinner disc-shaped wheel, which doubles as handle for carrying it around.
The Hoverboard is packed to the gills with technology. It has a customizable LED lighting system that makes it look like it belongs on The Grid from Tron. On each end of the board are LCD panels that show battery levels. There are Bluetooth speakers on the underbelly of the board that connect to your phone for blasting futuristic hover sounds, music and notifications. You can charge your phone from the internal battery. In your face, levitating hoverboards!
